About Me
I'm a mom to three adult children and two adorable grandsons. I taught elementary school for many years and now work as a tutor. My husband and I live in Lake Forest Park, Washington.Since his name is Jay and my name is Robin, we collect lots of bird things.
I grew up in California, near San Francisco and went to college in Santa Cruz. We moved to Washington in 1990 and we love the Evergreen State!
We have two rescue dogs, Molly & Pippa, and a 26-year old cockatiel named Avi.
I love to garden and we even bought a greenhouse since our summers are so short here. My favorite things to grow are: tomatoes, raspberries, grapes, carrots, sunflowers, and potatoes.

Avi the cockatiel. He's 26 years old! That's pretty old for a cockatiel.
